ok I have a hks 40 mm wastegate. At idle i can stick my hand under it and feel exhaust gas(also hear it). took the wastegate apart diaphram looks good. what else could be the reason fo it stayn open. it a 5.6psi spring. hose on the side of wastegate to nipple of turbo. one on top to boost controller.
