Ok, I have a problem. I'm about to cut the hole for my wastegate recirc tube. I'm tired of the obnoxious sound and the dirty engine bay.

Here's my downpipe:

My original plan was going to be inputting the recirc tube on the second bend where it turns under the oil pan. That way there is no 'turbulence' in the exhaust but I am short like 3" of pipe and don't have the time nor money to order another piece and wait for it to show up. But I do have enough to dump it right after that first weld on the second bend. Close to my original idea.

But the main question I have, is it best to recirc the wastegate above the O2 Housing for proper metering? or does it matter to dump it after? I figured if I did it above, the O2 sensor would meter not only the downpipe, but the wastegate gases as a whole. I know stock isn't this way either.

Idea's?

I could dump it here:

or like 6" lower, you can see the extra pipe next to the manifold.

Dump it where you have it in the picture above the o2 sensor. Mine is below but I don't think that matters. Just position it so that it enters the exhaust stream as smooth as possible.

Well I was going to go below the wastegate, on the bend so it flows almost the exact same direction as the downpipe. But I'm like 2" too short. . So I can get it right above (below the second weld on the DownPipe) the bottom bend. Just gotta cut the pipes with the right angles to get it in and then make a egg shaped hole....

I like yours, I should have gone with a wide 'U' instead of an L just so I could play with it more.
