I have my external wg running of the mani on the new set up im getting ready to install. Right now its just dump but i want to recirc it so its not as loud. I was thinking of getting it recirc'ed further down on the down pipe, would i still get boost creep and that far down would it still affect spool time? Another idea i had would be to just get a longer dump tube and run it along the exhaust and dump it further back. Not sure if it you be any less loud that way, has anyone tried either of these ways?

If you want it quieter you're gonna have to recirculate it. Simply extending the dump further back will do nothing to quiet it. It shouldn't effect spool up or creep as those are determined by other factors. Usually creep is cured by porting the exhaust manifold, o2 housing, and especially the wastegate passage on an internal wastegate. If you have an external gate now though you should be good to go as they don't creep like internal ones.:)

I have my external wastegate mounted on the manifold, and also have it recirculated in the downpipe about 4" below the o2 housing. The dump was cool for a bit, but it got obnoxious.

No I did not notice any noticeable result in spool, as you shouldn't, as spool speeds depend on other variables.
