You can just barely see the vacuum line running to it under the intake pipe. If you can't see it, I'll circle it or something.

sorry buddy but for 2g you have to tap a hose to the ic piping or tee one too your bov hose in order to be able to control boost. click on TURBO, then go to hallman boost controller and just check out the whole page. 1 nipple is located on your wategate actuator. and 2 one wich is the blue hose in the last pic which you have to tap

ok i know that i have to read old threads search the archives and shit and i know about vfaq and here and plymoth laser .com or whatever but no luck i guess im dumb

Nothing comes up when you click Hallman boost controller. You're not dumb, just lost. Hang around and you will find it.

there is only one nipple on all 16gs and that is on your waste gate actuator and if you cant see. i guess like home boi said above you are just lost.

Well here is what i got, i was told that between the bov to the intake you tee that vaccum hose and it goes into the bottom of the mbc, is it possible that i connected the mbc incorrectly???

someone please answer my question or look at my setup and tell me if i got it back words
:tease: me

correct me if im wrong but dont you jus tee off the hose to your wastegate. becuase the mbc restricts air to the wastegate to not open at 7 psi like stock instead to whatever you set it at so where ever you have your wastegate connected at tee it off and connect it there

so you tee off the hose from your waste gate to what after the tee where does it go.?????? the two remaining hoses that is

no no no. the side nipple on the MBC goes directly to the WG. you don't tee into anything (on the WG side of the MBC). just run a hose from teh side nipple, to the WG on the turbo. The WG is the big golden color thing on the turbo. the nipple points upwards.

the other side of the MBC goes to a vac source. any vac source will do, where you tapped in your pic is perfectly fine.

the existing lines (on the stock BCS (the little black thingy that the original hoses were connected to)) do not need to be hooked back up. just pull off the hoses and plug the holes (or cover them) on the BCS. i don't have anything plugging the holes, and i have no problems. however, i have heard that you may get a CEL if you don't plug them....

You need a boost signalsource. Tapping into the BOV line willwork. If you have a nipple on the compressor side of your turbo use that. The other line from your turboXs goes to the actuator nipple. On my Buchur racing MBC the boost signal goes to the top nipple of the MBC. Bottom nipple to the actuator. Mark

is what i have in my picture correct or not anyone please tell me if its backwards or not i need to know whats up, cause when i adjust the boost im still boosting at stock 10 psi, and it sounds like air is coming out of the mbc

you have it in wrong. flip it around and you will be good. i'm positive :thumb:
Yup, the TurboXS mbc is backwards of the norm.

The MBC willbleed off air to control the boost butI doubt you would hear that. Check for a boost leak or hose. Mark

is it possible that my stock bov wont allow me to boost past 10 psi because it cant hold boost??? cause when iturn it up (the boost) i am still boosting at 10 psi but when i do turn it up it does sound like something is leaking air so what the funk could it be its coming from the mbc , but everyone thanks for the help good thing i changed those hoses to the way there supposed to be :thumb:

Probably not running 10 lbs or so. Usually aorund 14 or 15 unless your bov is/was already going bad.

Dude the bottom nipple goes to the wastegate and the side nipple goes to the boost/vac source. I have this mbc, it works great, and this is the proper way to hook it up.

alright now i have already swapped the sides that the hoses are connected to on the mbc but im still not gettinga any boost increase, if i didnt plug those nipples on the intake and licp would that make a problem cause it still sounds like the mbc is leaking air when i turn up the boost?? :tease: gSx_r1der

Plug nipples. You have a leak other than the MBC. The MBC bleeds off a little air to maintain the boost setting. Remember the 2g BOV leaks easily, cannot hold boost pressure. Do you have a stock or an aftermarket boost gauge? Vacuum at idle? How does it run when you hear the leak?

I know the bov leakes after like stock boost but my idle is fine my driving is fine and vaccum is at 18, so yea i got an aftermarket boost gauge also, so to hear a little air coming from the mbc is ok???i do have a 16g so i was thinkin maybe something else is up cause the nipple on my wastegate had a vaccum hose going to my licp, so i have a nipple down there not plugged yet and i ran that hose to the mbc, but in 1st gear i do hear this whinning noise coming out of the enigne bay at high rpms, but only first gear and this never happend before, thanks for all the help everyone...

Does your lowerIC pipe have a nipple? If it does that would make a good boost source for the MBC. What/where do you have an open nipple? You are not hearing the MBC, you are hearing the open nipple more likely. Your vac at 18" is fine. Even when you hit your 10psi max the motor still runs fine, just no more boost? You should check into doig a leak test. Check the FAQ forum for info.
Your BOV, is it open to the atmosphere ordoes it recirculate? mark
