Im goining to cut the bov tube that sticks all the way down into the intake tube. I was wondering when i have it off the car if i can clean the inside of it, I guess this is kinda a newbie question but is there anything in there that can be messed up with water?

There is nothing inside that will get messed up, it is just a rubber piece, just let it dry before reinstalling it...:talon: :thumb: :talon:

No, but the turbo doesn't want to pull in water droplets. However, you're sucking in enough air, and in enough quantity that it won't be an issue.

Instead of going through the baloney they do on the websites, just cut it with a hacksaw blade from the big end. Use care to not cut the rubber.

A spray... what? To clean it?

He must be talking about the spray to clean the filter. never heard of one for the actual pipe. I don't see why you can't just wipe it with a towel. it shouldn't be that dirty.

for the actual pipe you can get an intake/carb cleaner...spray and rinse.

there are intake cleaner aerosol's. I wouldn't use them on a tubo car, though. Just take that sucker off and cut the tube, then wash it with alcohol or gasoline. You can rinse it with some water. Let it dry and reinstall!
