Ask Me,
Virginia
I have an ETS intercooler on my GVR-4 and have most of the intake kit for it...(the intake to the turbo kit).
I have been debating as to whether or not I should use the stock air can or use the intake kit. I have always run the stock can but was considering a change.
The only parts missing from the kit are the hoses circled in red. I notice that ETS sells those hoses in 4 ply but as part of a larger kit (and I don't want to pay for the entire kit).
Is 3 ply sufficient for these areas? I don't see why not, but wanted to be sure.
Also, should I continue with the stock airbox or go with the ETS intake? The ETS intake looks neater but the stock airbox draws in cooler air.
My hood is vented so I am not sure if using the ETS intake would hurt power and the air is pre-intercooler.
Thanks for your thoughts.
