And i saw that there's a lot of ~400+hp cars that the dyno sheet shows th torque and hp crossing at different RPM's than the traditional 5250.. is this a "tweak" or some sort of fooling the dyno to get better numbers? I know dynojets can't even give SAE corrected HP and all the ones I'm seeing with odd cross over points were done on dynojets.

I've never heard of anyway to change where they cross, but id like to know a little more about this. I consider myself a semi-advanced tuner and I've never seen this in any typical 4 banger setup...i've seen some streetbikes cross over at much higher RPM's but they were also dynojet printouts

what gives?
 
Good catch Sallee.

Next look at 5250 RPM and check that the HP and torque are numerically equal.
