The first day out my trans came loose and I ended up cracking my case. I got it pulled, welded and reinstalled. Its waiting for a prerace inspection and a rear suspension adjustment for this weekend. 2day AutoX in Sioux Falls, SD. PM me for details if interested.

Now for my future plans and questions.

Fuel Switch
I plan on switching from the 100 octane unleaded race fuel tune to E85. Its easier to get in South Dakota, and my father inlaw will like it (he is a farmer). I have researched the good bad and ugly of E85, and have to do more research. Does anyone know a any good tuner that are experienced in E85, I am going to call AMS and see if they are interested in this project.

Suspension
Custom Koni coilovers. Does anyone have any experience in this area? I have some just not related to DSM's.

Wheels and Tires
another set of wheels not sure what yet, 17" x 9+" Depends on price, strength...
Hoosier A6's and R6's for autoX and trackdays.

I think no one has responded cause every one wants to kick you in the nuts and take your front mount. Nice car though. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it?

Thanks for the comments.

I paid $7500 for the car with a spare motor and trans.(both need rebuilt before use).
I just purchased a trailer for it $1200
and $500 for fixing the trans (Work has been Crazy) so I had Excessive Autosports in Sioux Falls Fix it for me.

Racing isn't cheap, its never been and will never be.

I'd say you got a pretty good deal.
The list of parts on that car are worth more than what you paid for it.

Get bigger fuel injectors, and maybe a turbo swap, a tune, and you're good. I didnt see a FPR on your list but I bet you have one.

I guess you could say the water/meth injection kit is a pre-intercooler. WHY?... to run higher boost levels that why!:rocks:

I bet that thing's already fast! Did you get to test drive it!? What kind of racin are you gonna do with it?

Spraying the water injection pre intercooler, helps prevent the cooler from heat soaking. The cooler the air going into the intercooler, the cooler it stays right?

To OP, I think you first posted in the Track Talk forum right? About the E85, I understand your reasons for doing this, but at the same time I dont. I mean your race track supplies 100 doesnt it?

Oh welcome to the board, nice rid you got there:)

Thanks for the comments. Yes I made a quick introduction in the Track Talk.
The purpose for the car is AutoX and Road Course. I may take it the strip just for the heck of it everyonce in awhile. I did test drive it up and down the road infront of the guy house that I purchased it from. Not much, basically knew it ran, and didn't make any weird noises.

100 unleaded is available at the road course which is 200 miles away. I am considering ordering a barrel from the VP dealer. i am using purple power for the time being, just to get by. I don't want to run it forever because of the wideband and other issues running leaded gas. The E85 thing comes from school where I was an advisor on a E85 powered FSAE car. Since I purchased a car already built I need to personalize the mods some.

I haven't had a chance to go over every inch of this car so, I might be missing a few things. It doesn't have a FPR (far as I can tell). I went over everything quickly before the first race trusting everything was tight and buttoned up. I was wrong and I paid for it severly. I was more worried about getting a seat into it that I could fit in for a few AutoX's. Friday, I am going to go over the car more closely making sure everything is tight and ready to role.

A FPR will be installed over this winter with 1000cc - 1200cc injectors, fuel rail....to support the increased boost and E85. I am looking for 425hp-450hp to the wheels next summer and being able to keep that thing cool during 100+ degree 60 minute track sessions.

1200cc injectors are the smallest I'd go if I were to runing E85 with that turbo. Keeping a max IDC of 90%, you can safely run about 60lbs/minute max on E85 with 1200cc injectors. Those injectors should achieve your goals easily.

Are you sure you don't mean you have a 325lph fuel pump? 325gph is about 1,230 liters per hour!!!

BTW - There's a lot of posts in the off topic section about E85 if you do a search. Also a couple in the tuning section also.

yea that car is incredible could intemidate ppl just looking at it... And 7500 is about how much someof these guys bought there car for stock, ( or twice as much ) You got lucky on that... If you win enough races you may get some of your money back out of what you bout it with, because its already pretty hopped up, I bet its running at least low 12s now... Do you knowif thats the stock bumper on there, or was that a body kit front bumper that was cut up.. ( bomex im thinking. )
Its looks different thats why im asking...
