I'm interested in lowering my 1g, and was wondering if anyone could give me a good setup to go with. I'm running 2g 5 spoke wheels with stock size rubber. Want to only lower my car about an inch, inch and a half at the most and stiffen the ride up a little but still have a semi comfortable ride on the street. Can anyone suggest what brands or parts I should use to achieve this?

Eibach Pro-Kits or H&R Sport Springs. I am currently running the prokits, and i love em. Kinda hard to tell how harsh they are though, as i am also running Koni Sports and have the stiffness turned as high as it will go (makes your teeth rattle). Konis, while expensive, do provide the adjustability, which is nice. The drop is nice, but not excessive. I do have a slight amount of noticable rear camber, but its not excessive. I have not tried the Konis on any setting but the stiffest, however my friend's 2G is on about the middle, and it rides very nicely.

P.S. Do a search for lower, lowering, and other related terms. Theres a veritable treasure trove of information at the end of that rainbow.
