I want to upgrade the exhaust to an Apexi or ThermalR&D and add a FMIC to my 2G gst. Is this something that will bolt up to my stock turbo for the time being? I know I will probably need to upgrade my BOV though and add a more accurate turbo gauge.

Thermal all the way..

And for the FMIC it up to you what are your future plans for the car, and of course you can put a FMIC with the stock turbo. Dont expect huge power gains though.

For the BOV, a 1g should do the trick.

Yes you can upgrade the exhaust and add a FMIC on your stock turbo. Although the FMIC won't really be too much of a performance upgrade, it will still be there for future upgrades. Check out the punishment racing kit, I currently have it on my car with the stock t25, but I am also upgrading to an evo III 16g over the winter so it was nice to have on the car I suppose. With the punishment kit they include a knockoff type s or you can buy a cheap 1g bov and use that on the flange as well.

+1 on the punishment racing FMIC, I bought it for my car as well and everything fit PERFECTLY. You can order it with either a J pipe for like a 14B or 16G style turbo or a t25, you just have to choose it in the menu, its a really good kit to buy for the money tho and will last you for quite a while for higher H.P setups. I would also personally recommend Prosport Gauges for boost gauge etc... ive had them on three different cars and love them.

i saw a ebay goodspeed fmic kit that fit very well on the t-25 turbo and held up fine to 18 psi and really havent pushed past that yet..

Thermold r&d and punishment racing fmic. Exhaust sounds great and fmic fits great.
Thats the route Im going. I just bought the punishment racing fmic kit and Ill update from there. Want the Thermal R & D exhaust for sure though. Sounds so good

anyone know if the o2 sensor extenders are universal? Ill need one when I remove my cat for the straight through DP

PR kit= keep your stock fog lights. VRSF= you CAN keep them but you have to do some modding from what ive heard.
Its a good idea and like everyone said, you wont notice much in performance gains, maybe a bit from the exhaust, but the fmic at the moment wont do much. But hey, youre set up for a bigger turbo when you get your fuel and tuning done too. Less stuff to buy later. GL bud
