I am in the process of removing and replacing my fuel pump and I can't seem to figure out the best way to remove the middle line on the top of the fuel pump. It's the one with the inverted flare. Not completely sure what the line is called, but this is the only one I am having trouble with. I don't want to continue yet until I know the best way of removing it so I don't ruin it. Any advice is appreciated!

Are you talking about the one you try to turn the what looks to be nut, but it twists the entire line instead? If yes, you have to go under the car right in front of the rear wheel and take it off the bottom first.
At that point you shouldn't need to take it off the top, just pull the entire assembly out and replace your pump.
