Walbro filter and E85

I'm about start my car on a new setup, which includes E85, and have read that it will clog my fuel filters since it cleans out the tank.

My setup: Walbro 255 in-tank --> Bosch 044 inline --> Fuelab 818 filter

I've read posts where people recommend cleaning/replacing the fuelab filter, but I've seen no mention of the walbro filter. It seems to me that the walbro filter would get clogged before the fuelab filter. (Maybe not since it's a sock). Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas regarding these filters and which will clog and need to be replaced?

They might all clog. None may clog. This is something you just have to take how it comes. The walbro filter is the sock. It usually doesn't get clogged. The fuel lab one will probably but then again they are very easy to clean.

What i did to combat the finer element clogging and needing replaced was to get the SS element for my fuel lab filter and when it clogs i just take it apart and spray it out with carb cleaner and compressed are at 120 psi or so, then it's right back to normal. You'll know when it's clogging if you get your tune down right away because over a week or 2 worth of time when it's getting good and clogged you'll just see the wideband going leaner and leaner every day you get into it... That's how I know when mine's ready to be cleaned anymore

Where did you find an ss filter? I'll get one ordered. Is it possible to clean them w/o compressed air? I don't have a compressor.

Any place that sell the aftermarket filters will have one. I pefer the fuel lab one matchs my AFPR!
