VRSF TB Elbow boost leak

After I finished the bov flange leak. I noticed the tb elbow was leaking at the tb. After pulling it off and inspecting the surfaces, I noticed the elbow surface was not flat. I then put some 120 paper on a flat board ans flattened out the plate that bolts to the tb. I also made my own rubber gasket instead of the metal one that was on there (not sure if this is ok to do). No more leaks on the intake. I did notice air/oil coming out of the screw on my oil cap though...

I have the same kit.Mine leaked but as far as I saw the flange was flat.I used the metal gasket but I put RTV on both sides of it.
