VRS turboback too loud...

Well i have a VRS turbo back with O2 eliminator w/ an external dump. Anyway the dump isnt what the problem is as i like that sound. The problem is idle, low throttle, ect just sounds like i have a 87 honda accord with no exhaust! its soooo incredably loud and almost unbearable inside the car. What ive done for now is put about 5 comforter blankets in the hatch to act as a "sound barrier" . Anyway sense i really dont like it being so loud and want to rid of some of the creep on my evo3 turbo im looking into finding a 3" cat and a 3" resonator that i could weld in the b pipe somwhere. Its been very hard so far to find a decent looking bolt on 3" cat that is not too pricey. Ive found a few resonators but idk if theyll fit, if somone knows that would be awsome. Heres a link to what im talking about LINK . If anyone knows where i can get a cheap 3" cat or a cheap 3" resonator that will fit an AWD exhaust with no clearance issues please share.

magnaflow makes cats for our AWD cars. I cant see why your exhaust is super loud. probably becuse you have that dump. my buddies TSi with a VRS on it had no noise issues and sounded like a racecar. It was pimp.
anyway. . Magnaflow makes 3" cats
VRS has cat options as well.

I love my 3" VRS exhaust w/magnaflow cat on my 95 TSI
In my opinion not too loud, but definitly gets some attention when you get on the gas hard.

Well just a little update, i ordered a dynomax bullet muffler 3"in and out, preforated core, and is 24" long. Should take the edge off and have that baby sounding great again
