Vortech FMU

I just got my Vortech FMU and it looks exactly like the Blox FMU that I have been having problems with.My question is:Shouldnt I be able to blow air through one fitting and have air come out untill boost pressure is applide?I just took it out of the box and I cant even blow through it

I'm not sure what fittings you're talking about.
The FMU has one vacuum fitting.... If you're blowing into it your simulating "boost".
The FMU also has 2 fuel fittings.
So, I'm not sure which one your saying you're blowing into.
I'm sure it's just fine and you're just being pessimistic.

No, you should not be able to blow through any of it. The vacuum doesn't pass through anything. It presses against a plate which, in turn, is what raises your fuel pressure. If you were blowing through the fuel fittings and added "boost Pressure" it would make it even harder. The average fuel system has a base pressure of 50psi. I think the last time I had my lung pressure tested for my asthma I hit 5psi... So...I doubt you're going to blow right through it.

I second Ryan. Methinks you're just worried.

I'm talkin about blowin through the fuel fitting(with a good set of lungs).The fuel should flow through without any resistance,untill boost is applied.When I opened up the Blox FMU,the vacume fitting was screwed in so far that it pushed the cylinder so hard against the fuel diaphram that it cut a perpect hole right through the center of it.
