viper alarm removel help

When I bought my car 99 gst there is was a viper alarm installed thers no remote to it just the module under the steering wheel how can I uninstall it because the wires are really a mess and the module itself keeps coming lose and hanging.

Trace the wires and see where they go. Then cut if needed. Most of them should be wire taps so just cut the wire coming from the alarm system and leave the taps in place. Just follow basic electrical knowledge and you should be fine. Unplug the battery when you do this and exposed wires should be covered so they don't accidentally short out. There shouldn't be any need to mess with the vehicle's wire harness directly. Most of Viper's alarms tap into the ignition, horn, headlights, tailights, door lock/unlock, maybe the stock alarm horn, but they might have just installed their own.

tracing the wires is the best way to do it just take time and look before going cut crazy

Did you have any luck getting the alarm removed? Im going thru the same situation, my car came with a Viper alarm installed and its a pita everytime I hook up my battery the alarm sounds off.
