I've been having this problem with my galant. Ever since I installed a 16g on the car it started jerking like crazy. The turbo spools up fine.

I have replaced the plugs, plug wires, coil pack, igniter and it's still doing the same. I read on here that it might have been a fallen cam roller but nothing. Timing is all set right. I though it might be my vacuum lines but all is right, rechecked it a couple time. Did a boost leak test and only a little leak at tb and got the fixed but still does it. It's not throwing any CEL. It has a new fuel filter, going to replace
the injectors next week with evo 550ccs to see if I'll work or help.

During idle, some times I can rev it up to redline and sometimes it stumbles. The jerking happens when in gear or under load. Don't matter which hear it's in.

I've ran out of ideas and am really stumped. Need some help solving this.

yeah. i would say fuel cut. if you are running the stock 450ccs then they will hit fuel cut at 15+psi. or if you have a boost controller. the hoses on the boost controller are mixed up. i mixed mine up and it did studder a little bit reving but as soon as i tried to drive, it would studder after 4800. try turning down the boost. if thats not it. if you have a boost controller swap the lines.

It's not fuel cut. It's running on stock wastegate pressure boost. (stock 14b wastegate) got a burnt chip from pneumo. Everything else is stock besides a 2g manifold, b16g, dump o2 housing.

check out this old thread of mine. I ended up having to rewire my coil packs.
It might not help...but i tried :dsm:

Did you rewire the back of the coil pack or just the plugs?

Changed out the fuel pressure regulator and cat converter with a test pipe and its still doing the same thing. Anyone have any ideas? I AM LOST!!!

The car is also throwing a code 43 EGR valve. Took it out and cleand it but still throwing it.

No one?

Your car could also be out of time. Check the mechanical timing (cam pulleys and crank). I have a 92 N/T 4g63 do something similar when it was 1 tooth out. And also check your wires and plugs. Your wires could be jumping to a ground before getting to the plug if the wires are bad. Run your car in the dark and open the hood. If it is jumping across you should see where it is happening. You might want to rev it a little when doing this to make it easier to see. Hope this helps!

Update. I changed out the old fuel pump and found out that its really rusted out and was running a 3000gt non turbo fuel pump. I installed a walbro 190 on it and it runs shitty like its starving for fuel or maybe flooding it. I then put in a stock 1g fuel pump and it runs much better. It still runs sluggish and jerks alittle. I put in some evo 550cc and its still the same.

It does it on partial and WOT. I doubt it would be the TPS but will change it anyways.
