So i have searched, but i thought it'd be better to explain my individual case. freeway speeds, my car starts making a slight vibrating and a loud vibrating "noise" coming from the rear, if that makes any sense. Almost like really loud off road tires. When i go past 75, the stearing wheels starts to shake a little. These problems are independant of each other btw. One last thing, most of the time when i start from a stop(not always), my car makes a klunk sound, cant describe it, but it only happens at extremely slow speeds. Thanks

Whens the last time you had an alignment and a tire balance?

The clunk sounds like a bad engine/trans mount

There are several thing that could be causing your problems, if you have a bad tire it could account for the shaking and noise most definitely. it could also be a bad wheel bearing as far as the noise goes and maybe even vibration. clunking could be a motor or tranny mount or a loose suspension component but if i were you i would check all the wheels and make sure no suspension components are loose. If something comes off like a control arm or strut the results could be very bad.

CV boots - cracked or split which will spin out the grease, allow junk to get inside and wear down the balls, etc.

Check tire balancing or visual inspection for roundness. You could have a tire that the inner cord have separated causing a blister. .. You might need a new set of tires..

Let a tire shop look at this for you ..

I HAVE the same exact problem, for mine it was the bushings on the control arms and Knuckle bushing. You may have to change your bushings also, but i am trying to find out what kind of bushings are good for my 95 RS. But after reading everyone's reply, makes me want to check everything now. Thanks!

thanks for all the suggestions guys, i think my cv boots are fine, i had the car up recently but i'll double check them.

my first step will be taking it to a tire shop cus i think on of my wheels is missing a weight, guessing thats why my wheel vibrates.

Tire issue (shifted belt, tread separation, out of balance, bent wheel, etc)? Worn out bushings on the trailing arms? Bad suspension components? Wheel bearing?

Give the front end (and the back for that matter) a good shake down to diagnose suspension/drivetrain problems.

Could be a number of things.

EDIT- DOH just realized you're FWD. No trailing arms.
