Hey I have a 97 eclipse gst and the past week I've been having really weird overheating problems. So here's the deal my car over heats when I drive and accelerate but as soon as I stop it cools back down pretty much right away. I have a belt that's squealing and the battery light and brake light stays on the dashboard. I don't think I'm low on coolant and I'm going to get a new rad cap and T stat tomorrow, I figure ill do the cheap stuff first. I don't think it's a blown head gasket, no coolant in oil and no oil in coolant. I'm also going to do a coolant flush in a day or 2. The gasket that's between the down pipe and turbo is leaking I think I saw exhaust coming out of it so I know I need a new gasket. So if any one has any ideas I would love the help. Oh by the way the temp gauge doesn't ever fully go into the red just about 3/4 of the way up the gauge. So if anyone has any ideas I would love the help. I'm sorry it's so long I wanted to be through. Thanks
