Just got my car back today from the shop. i had magnus manifold and 1gtb installed, and its reving very high at idle, 4k!! isc is good, maybe just the tb itself? it couldnt be the tps right. has new bliss screw too.

Make sure the throttle cable isn't binding against anything. Depending on how they mounted it the throttle plate could be open. This could be checked via tps voltage, datalogger, dsmlink, or safc. You should also check for vacuum leaks.

Common sence answer: HAVE THE SHOP THAT INSTALLED IT FIX IT.

It could be a number of things: throttle cables, intake manifold leak, defective TB, ect. The TPS can not cause a high idle.

It was idleing high at the shop like 2500 but came down, of course when i got home it does the worst, and the shop is stupid i figured i could changed the isc or tb. what can i do with dsmlink to try and fix it? I did a boost leak test and nothen is that the same as a vaccum test?

There are two bolts the hold the throttle cable to the manifold. make sure that the cable is not pulled too tight and adjust as required. Most likely this is it.

You need to find another "shop". Anyone that would let a car go out like that should not be working on your car.

Thats what I was thinking, your paying them and they did a shitty job so THEY should be fixing it. If you have to go behinde them and fix it then why did you pay them in the first place?

i had the same problem when i installed my jmfab but my ISC was bad, i would say check your throttle cable and for leaks

It'd be best to have two people for this job:

One person sits in the car and watches the RPM needle as the car idles. The other adjust the throttle cable mounting plate in the engine bay. When the desired RPM is reached, tighten the bracket back down and you're done. =)

The cable seems fine, if i take the tb elbow off that should tell me right, to see if the tb plate is slightly opened?

If you pull on the throttle cable from the throttle body (like you're revving the engine), you should be able to tell if the throttle body plate slams shut fully. And yes, if you take the elbow off you should also be able to see if it's opened slightly. Have you tried messing with the biss?

Yea it does, so i dont think its the cable, plus i just did a log with dsmlink throttle is open 2% so thats normal right and tps volts is .73, for the bliss i loosened it and it reved little higher. so i dont know.

Ya, I just saw your post on the DSMlink forum. Your tps looks fine. I noticed that the coolant temps were low. Have you got the car up to operating temperature and driven it around to see how it acts? Try screwing the biss in all the way too.

yea the car wasnt warmed up. but yesterday it was i drove 90 min home and every red light, it reved to 4k, but i will try te bliss, thanks!

Finally figured it out, i dont know what this peice if called, i know 2g tb doesnt have it, but it was tighten to far down and was hitting the cable and making it rev.

That is a 1G closed throttle switch. or a throttle stop switch, call it what you like. The 1G uses it to tell the computer to shut off the fuel when the throttle is closed to save on fuel milage.
