hi , can u guys please tell me if i vent to the atmosphere without the MAF , can something get damaged or not ?

You need an aftermarket MAF, or else your car will not run well. But I'm not sure where it will have to mount to be honest. Probably the ones that go before the throttle body.

You need a MAF no matter what, but if you really want to vent, you need a GM MAFT in a blow through style so it counts the air after the turbo, resulting in a good mixture or starche (sp), and not rich.
