Valve spring install

Im planning to install a set of Manley springs into a new OEM 6 bolt head. I've got the head and the parts but have a few quick questions first.

I plan on cleaning up the casting in the runners so I'll be taking the valves out. Would the valves need to be lapped again or can I just reinstall them. Also, the valve seals....would they need to be replaced ?

What I would do is mark them so you can install them in the same place.
Yes, change the Valve Seals with OEM Mitsu. seals, don't risk anything unless you want to do the job twice!
While you're at it you should clean the head up pretty good since you already have it out, and don't forget to deck it also before you put it back on! IT would also be the perfect time for a new head gasket....

Ohh...something else that I remember is the valve stem locks are a bi*** to install 1 at a time. Try to use some grease and slide them both(2stems/valve) in the same time. With some practice you will be able to put the head back togheter in under 20 min

Sorry I should have been more clear.

The head is new, as in an OEM head from Mitsu that has never been installed. It came with stock valves,springs, retainers,locks and seals. Im planning on installing a set of new Manley springs, retainers, locks into this head to accomidate the 272s I have for it. What needs to be done? Also, I plan on doing a quick port job to clean up the casting so I'll be taking the valves out(marking them before hand obviously).
