i am looking for a nice set of valve spring/retainers to run on the mirage, im looking to use some really aggressive cams and rev pretty high, i was looking at the kiggly racing beehive valve springs http://www.kigglyracing.com/parts/valvespring1.htm, and the magnus valve springs, http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/engines/dsm.htm , i'm not sure of the difference between the two besides price, any one have any options on these 2 sets, or any suggestions of different valve springs to run?

Wow, $600 for Magnus springs? That seems high to me, and you may want to check out the ST's. Forced Performance sells them here. Good luck!

they look pretty nice, how high do they like to be reved to, on my current motor i am looking to shift at 9500 -10000, but on the next motor that i am working on i want to go a little higher, so i want a spring that can be used for both engines

Those FP springs cannot handle what the kiggly beehive springs can handle, obviously. FP recommends those springs for cam profiles that single "straight" (no side profile: Manley crower etc.) springs can handle.

The kiggly beehive springs are more affordable than the magnus springs. And look to still fulfill your goal. . . where is your question?

I would pass on the Supertech/FP springs and get the Kiggly springs.

anyone know the differences between the kiggly and magnus spring, i can see that there is a difference in price, i am looking for things in the way of differences in performance
