Looks like valve seals to me. Pull the springs and retainers, give the valve a wiggle. If you have side to side play then the guide is worn. More likely then not its simply the valve seals though.

Without pulling the springs and checking the guides no way to tell, from the amount, seals would be more likley than guides

some of my seals had a lot of oil on them and some ripped when i took them off but the color was the brown/red color of the seals how should they look or feel they really didn't look like they were bad but i don't know this is my first time doing it

^^^^ its easy to take them off with a hamer and socket but hard to put them back on with out skill or experiance, good luck!!!

thanks i was going to use a compressor to put everything back on

"bad" seals may feel hard and brittle, they also feel like they dont really "seal" around the valve when passed through.

a new seal is rubbery and tight, and you feel the tighteness of the seal as you pass through the valve.

ya my old seal really didn't want to flex at all and my new viton ones feel little better

Are you going to replace the springs and valves too? Those valves that say "made in japan" on the face cant be no good. That lettering most likely can cause hot spots on the valve. There are a few good sets of stainless valves that you could choose from on ebay that wont break the bank and you could get a set of BC springs for around ~100$.

sorry for the late response i was up north and did not have service but yes i am getting new stainless steel valves with new springs and titanium retainers and then replace the seals and take my head in to get the holes drilled a little bigger to fit my 1g head studs.
