I took my intake manifold off this weekend to clean it off and drill out and re-thread the holes since the previous owner stipped them out. When I had the thing off I noticed the egr valve had the hoses cut off? I've heard of block off plates, would the cut lines cause leakes or leave the egr open?
Next I noticed that all the lines on top of the throttle body are capped. I know one goes to the EGR valve what are the others supposed to be for other emmissions stuff?
What I'm really getting at is did the previous owner F-up the car cause I do have some boost leaks I'm just waiting to get the tester to find them all. I'm basing that on the fact that my boost sucks.
And does anyone know what the two slots on the inside of the throttle body are for? The two that are inside right behind the flapper. I have a chunk of rubber stuck in one of them. I'm guessing it goes to the FIAV but am not sure.
