Hey, so I just finished putting a turbo system on my 94 N/T!!:D But my question is which vacuum lines do I tap to run my boost gauge, BOV, and wastegate. Anyone with some pics??

I'd run the BOV and boost gauge from the plenum side of the intake manifold. For the wastegate, tap into the j-pipe, lower intercooler pipe, or compressor cover.

Ok, I tried using a few different vacuum lines coming from the intake manifold. I read on another thread the one marked P was a good source, but when I tapped it, I got nothing. So I tapped into the vacuum line to the FPR. I am running WG, BOV and Boost gauge from there is this ok to do? Or do I need to find some separate sources?

Thanks for the help guys. I decided I'll keep the B gauge and the BOV on the FPR vacuum line, and i'll run the wastegate from the port on the compressor housing. :thumb:

I went with all Turbonetics stuff!! T3/T4 60trim turbo, Cast turbonetics manifold, and Turbonetics evolution wastegate. Greddy type S BOV! Big FMIC not sure who makes it as it was given to me by a friend.

Are you dumping your wastegate right into the engine bay, or is that picture just a mock up? If you are, then you should definitely get a dump tube and either route the wastegate back into the exhaust or at least get it out of the engine bay. Hot exhaust gases+electrical wiring=melted wire and headaches.

Just my $0.02

92eagleTSI: A pressure washer is definitely on the list of things to do LOL! just got to get her running good first

kahl23: that is just a mock up. I will definitely be making a dump tube before I start boosting :thumb:
