ok so a guy told me just buy unhooking the vacuum line on my fuel pressure regulator it would turn the pressure up to 50psi on the fpr to the stock 43psi meaning 7psi more of pressure from just doing that..is this true???

+1. Leave the car as is. You might not even boost correctly by unhooking this line. Leave it alone.

No, it WILL still boost; you just WILL NOT have any increase in fuel pressure to compensate for boost and will then run lean and likely damage your engine.

You NEED to have a leak-free vacuum line from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. Stock or aftermarket.

That is how a rising rate fuel pressure regulator works; adjustable or stock. It requires a vacuum line to increase fuel pressure to compensate for boost.

If you want to have higher fuel pressure, get a quality adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Good luck,

Unhooking the line will revert it back base fuel pressure which during idle operations will increase fuel pressure. But only for idle. Pressure won't change according to air source.
