Vacum Leak

ok so I installed my boost gauge via the fuel pressure solenoid, and the gauge is reading, but when its at idle how low should it go into the vacum side? i think mine sits right at 20 down there. Is that good or bad ? i had a hard time finding a Tee for the Gauge tubing so i tan the nylon tube into another hose then to the tee, used some clamps to hold it on there, saw that in another write up so gave it a shot.

Doesnt seem like there is a leak it boosts like normal maybe a little lower of an idle but coulda just been cause it was cold ?

Idle vaccuum of 20in-Hg is normal at around sea level. Now that you have a boost gauge, you might want to do a boost leak test and see how things stand. The car may seem to run normal, but a boost leak will rob power that you might not realize you're missing.

thanks thats what i thought, just wanted make sure i didnt install incorrectly was a first time for me..

I will do a boost leak for sure and see what it shows.
