Well I have been dealing with this nasty boost leak for awhile now. After fixing all the leaks I can find I am still not able to boost over 4lbs.. Except when I am at the top of my rpms I can WOT and it will hold 12lbs for 2 secs..

Now I discovered a hissing sound coming from around the IM area. Its to loud to be the injectors and it does not pick up with RPM's . Whatever it is its causing me to rich pig rich , stutter when getting into boost, and occasionally stalling out.

I attached a video of it, you cant really see much but the general area its coming from( runner 3&4 ) on the IM. I am assuming its a IM gasket.. But what else could leak back there causing a boost leak? Also, I just replaced the fuel injector insulators with stock oem ones, the thing is I have PTE 680's so I am not to sure if you can use the oem insulators? but they seem to seal fine.

Any help is apperciated, I need my boost fix someone help!

That was going to be my suggestion. Next on the list would be the TB>IM gasket and IM>head. Were you pressure testing or just examining and tightening things up?

Pressure testing. Well when I move each injector pigtail around the hissing sound sound doesnt change in any way..

The best way to test for leaks is to make a boost leak tester and pressurize the intake tract. This will allow you to test it in sections and isolate and fix boost leaks as you progress from the IM back towards the turbo.

Some leaks like the PCV valve (more common than you think) won't show up with the engine idling and under vacuum. If you don't have access to an air compressor you can try spraying potential leak areas with carb cleaner while the motor is idling to see if there is a change in rpms.
