ya think i have a bad boost leak at my BOV' then because i checked for leaks ( not with a tester ) but by ear and my bov hisses pretty bad, i think that can explain the jerking i get at WOT , and it wont go over 3000 rpms when i floor it

Yeah it should be around 17-19. Unless you have cams, cause with my web cams my vacuum is around 11.

ya sounds like u have a bad leak if u can hear it. u dont need a tester to hear it if its that bad. car will jerk around if u are losing air and will pull timing if u leak bad at wot. if u dont have cams in the car then ya u should see more vacuum. with cams though u will see less vac due to increased valve overlap

ya i finally got my new bov' and upper i/c piping , went to install it and the lower intercooler hose came off along with HALF THE INTERCOOLER PIPE TO IT!! i inspected it and theres holes in it and its corroded to shit, time for a front mount :D thanks for all the help and support guys!

This still doesn't get you off the hook on boost leak testing just so you know, what's with you kids and laziness these days. If you want to get into the business of modding your DSM then do it right, get use to the idea of leak testing. Someone would have to hold a gun to my head and force me to take my Talon off my driveway before my leak testing after any work done which involves the intake tract, and I mean any work.

I'll have to get back to you on why we're lazy these days....

Jerking at 3k:
Check the condition of your spark plugs. NGK BPR 6ES gapped at .028" with good wires and a good coil pack.
AFTER you test for the boost leaks of course.
