i have a 95 gs-t w/ auto tranny. i was thinking of buying a non eprom ecu for it but i dont know if that will make a difference or not. the ecu would be coming out of a 97 or 98 gsx. any info would be greatly appreciated

Why are you trying to replace it? If you have an EPROM ECU then you are easier to setup for ECMLink.

it is bad currently and i need a temporary replacement while i get the eprom one fixed

If going to a 97+ ECU then you need to swap injector and plug wires around as your CAS signal is reversed from the 97+ CAS.

so the non eprom will work temporarily then?

liquidx im really new to the dsm world and dont know exactly what you mean LOL could you explain to me

Temporarily or permanently whatever you decide on. Usually you can find good EPROMs already socketed for 225.00ish, probably be a better option in the end then rebuilding your current on.

It means it will only run properly if your swap your plug and injector wires around to the opposite cylinder. 1&4 gets swapped to 2&3.
