Uses for a spare 2G AWD Tranny cooler?

I recently replaced the OEM tranny cooler with a aftermarket one. So here sits the stocker taking up space in the garage. Any thoughts on possible uses? I decided not to hook them up in series because the research I did led me to believe that it wouldnt make a difference. Am I wrong?
 
You COULD hook it up in series but really theres no need if you have your aftermarket one in. As for the stocker cooler, Im in the same boat as you with it just sitting around. I'm looking into it if I can use it as a power steering cooler or not, Ill let you know what I find out.
 
OH OH Powersteering cooler! Thats a great idea! I cant believe that didnt cross my my mind!

I was going to go to sleep now but Im going to go install this in place of the stock PS cooler!

I don't think it would be beneficial to upgrade the PS cooler. It doesn't have any trouble cooling the system down. A much better use (if possible) would be to use it as an oil cooler, although you'd have to buy a 1990 oil filter housing.

The stock coolant line for the PS is more than overkill as it is. Adding that cooler to your car would only add weight, but might impress locals in parking lots.

I respectfully disagree. I plan on running this car in a few autocross meets before summer is over and dont see why the car would not benfit from lower PS temps. I also have a part time pizza delivery job that allows me good practice and keeps my driving skills sharp. The shift I work is about 8 hours straight and the heatsoak on the engine is ridiculous.

Sounds good, let us know how it works out. Are you going to cut the long lines short going infront of the radiator or what? Post some pics.
