thats where i removed the air box, so that i could get access to the intercooler, to make the coupler fit.. but see once you put the pipe on it then theres NO possible way for the airbox to sit back where it was, and then it just doesnt connect with the little passageway where the airfilter tube goes.
so all in all

total piece of shit, if i cant MAKE it fit tommarrow, then i hope it finds a nice place in the trash

MAYBE....
i was just rushing it since i was running out of daylight (btw i worked on it from 4:30pm-7:20pm and i havent gotten anywhere....
so hopefully someone who has these worthless piece of crap things can help me out alittle as to what they did.

Or just give them too me, I'll even pay shipping :) , From what I can see the stock airbox can't be used. Are any of the other peices fitting together better? John

i have no clue about the lower pipe cause i didnt get to that.
it "seems" to connect fine, i think there will be a problem though once everything is fitted together(if it ever fits together)
looks like the bov is in the wrong spot, looks like the top of the airbox where the the mass air flow sensor is is going to be very tight

im so furious:mad:

maybe you should try a aftermarket filter. And get rid of the big air box.:thumb: That should give you some extra room to play with.i have 2g pipes on my 1g and i moved and removed a lot of things.check out my pics.:dsm: :rocks:

So you can't use the airbox. Oh well get a conic filter then. Just because they don't work perfect for you doesn't make them peice's of ****. Maybe you should have researched them a little bit before buying them. And this doesn't belong in the forum so maybe you should have researched that too.

I have a friend of mine that has hard intercooler pipes and it all fits together pretty tight so everything may not be lost. I'd say just try to find somewhere that has a K&N FIPK in stock so you dont have to worry about the stock airbox fitting and try to squeze everything together and see what happens. John

how much does one of those K&N FIPK run? i mean money after money after money... i just want 1 part that doesnt require 5 other parts for it to work.
its sucking me dry, i cant keep dumping money into shit, that i could use for something more important like some damn tires.

is there another way i could maybe use the stock airfilter but without the box?
