You using air tools? If not I would sugest using them. Spins them fast enough and quick enough to get them tight. Just Did my rear end getting ready to put my front all back together. good luck

I don't know how the suspension is setup on a 2g but with most cars you can use a jack under the knuckle to put pressure on the ball joint and keep it from spinning.

Grab a floor jack put it under the lower control arm and jack it up with everything put together and the bolts loose. The spindle will put pressure and the balljoint and you will be able to tighten the nut with a ratchet or air tools.

You could also try a large set of vicegrips to squeeze the knuckle and control arm along with the jack method.

1) Search, detailed several times already.
2) connect shock absorber up, piece of wood under the lower balljoint, jack up supporting weight on the wood, tighten balljoint nuts; you may need to clean everything with brake cleaner first.
3) Buy/modify non-locking nut, use that to tighten to hand-tight plus 1/4 turn; remove non-locking nut, replace with locking nut

3 is the easiest for the upper A-arm.
