Can ball joint boots be replaced (upper and lower)???

my upper and one of the lower ball joint boots are broken. The ones done under recall are fine. Is there any way i can just replace the boots or do i have to replace the control arms.

also, does anyone have any tips on getting them out of the arms??

Just replace the ball joints.

can i replace them separately by popping them out of the control arms? do i need a special tool for this?

the joints dont come out - but the boots do come off.

yeah i'd sure hope you can't just replace the joints, it's kinda like tha saying "if you can get it in there, than you can get it out"... i wouldnt want a ball joint coming out on me when i was driving or something, i have to get my lower control arm replaced because of the recall on them i guess.. oh well, i hope it's free

do i have to get these from the dealer or should local part's stores carry them?
anyone know the part # ?

I had to go to satan $8 a piece. Try getting the part number from the dealer and cross referencing!
