I own a 2g GST. Pretty much stock. Installing fmic and B16g.
I am thinking of Evo VIII 560 injectors and 255 walbro fuel pump.
Would this setup be good? Or bigger injectors, smaller fuel pump?
199? Possibly. And will the evo 560's bolt up?
Guy says he has them with the clips. Thanks to all :thumb:

Ahah, i hear you man. Thanks for the help :thumb:
Its my first dsm I'm Eighteen. I'm installing fmic 16g and all of
this on my own. Doing own body work And have to buy everything myself.
Aha, Just need a little help of knowledge to get me started LOL

No problem my man.:) Not trying to bust your balls... Just trying to help you help yourself. You're young and trying to learn, so I understand and respect that.:thumb: Learning to search here and find your own answers will help you learn a lot, but if you need help we're here for you.

Yeahh Bro thanks a lot, Almost done with the 16g my Bro is helping me out, Had to rewire the lines and got some evo injectors. Found an apexi safc2 and Wideband getting that. So i'll be running soon i hope :sneaky:

A lot of people don't understand that there is a starting point for everyone.
No one knows everything off the back and people start as "Noobs"
But with no help everyone will remain "Noobs" We don't want our forums
to end up like the Honda Boys Forums. LOL

So, so far no one has helped.
So how can i do an easy tune so my car isn't running like crap after fmic
16g and 560 injectors?
Someone please without a smart ass response? Thank You :)

No one explained anything like BlueTalonBoy or GRAVEDIGGER. Everyone assumed
I knew what everything was. Everyone did help and i appreciate everyone's help.
What i meant most was that the thread went completely off topic for a while as well.
Thanks everyone once again for your help.

Is this a good wideband? Innovate for Motorsports Wideband LC1 O2 Kit Air Fuel 3769 | eBay

And do I need a gauge for it?

Wideband Air/Fuel Gauges
Or are these better? Or are the just gauges?

LC1...hands down. It has been proven to work the best over and over again. It is also super easy to setup logging with it in DSMLink.

Yes you need a gauge or you will need a laptop hooked up to monitor it.

Just have to read and apply yourself a little...

You can always check here to see the list of supporting vendors.
Sooner or later the spoon feeding has to stop and you'll have to learn to walk on your own...

I'm Eighteen...need a little help of knowledge...

After noticing it, I thought this title’s subject might enlighten me about simple upgrades. Unfortunately, rather than providing additional information to the Upgrade Paths section, it portrays the common situation of some young people today. Well, I have now been feeling like an ornery old man.

There is a vast difference between being lazy compared to believing that you are not smart about engine upgrading. You infer that being 18 gives you the excuse to not research even the simplest information provided in several posts. You do realize that at your age you would be a sophomore in college, trade school, or other educational/military pursuit where studying and researching would be critical to continue learning/comprehending the material. Several people have posted ideas that you must grasp, and you similarly need to research the offered advice. By looking at your quick replies after any advice given, it becomes apparent that a few minutes would not have been enough time for you to have bothered researching anything offered as ideas. Instead, you request others to do the comprehension portion for you. It seems that your continual questions about suggested upgrading ideas are asked before any effort on your part has been attempted, and this is the likely reason for the sarcasm lacking any substance. The knowledgeable people of this forum can differentiate between laziness and uncertainty.

Use some effort concerning the comparisons of the ideas suggested. Simply calling different vendors on the phone, and asking them for compatible part combinations would help you because the vendor hopes to earn your business. Visit local shops and discuss your engine ideas. Such conversations with a sales/technician staff member would be more fluid than continuous, consecutive questions here, especially when it reaches the sarcasm level here. Compare the SAFC system to a DSMLink system as advised. Determine how specific gauges complement either system as advised. Contrast fuel pumps with injector size as advised. Distinguish between your fuel and tuning desires related to your turbocharger choices as advised. Asking a question, about your question, related to your lack of knowing will lead people to believe that you are rather lazy even though you seem polite.

the other day my sister in law was griping about her senior (HS) project because she was going to have to go to the library to do research. first off im pretty sure she doesnt know what 'books' are, but the point of this story is that she has a laptop, wireless internet at home, a smart phone with internet access, and as many 'smart' devices as the next 18 yr old. i casually asked why she was going to the library, if the instructor had required paper sources or something? she, i shit you not, looked at me and asked what i was talking about. i said 'you have the internet within 5 foot of you anywhere in your house, why are you going to the library?' she was still confused and and said 'how do you do homework research on the internet?' as she jestured to her facebook page.

anyone who bothered to read that, i say it is our duty to wreck what is left of the earth before the next generation has a chance to.

I know for a fact I am not lazy, just everyone has different set-ups, cars, and lots of other things that may differ your car from another. I seeked helped, received it now I am done. With no mechanical knowledge I just finished my setup with hard earned money. No I don't mean to brag. But I hooked up lines installed fmic changed a fuel pump injectors spark plugs and so much more cause of "research". All research was found on this forum. Sure it may not be much, but from zero car experience I did well. I thank all the DSMers for it. I know this is a friendly community. But I just wanted to be guided in the right direction.

It's just tough love kiddo. It feels good when you break sweats with bloody knuckles. I hope you get it running soon. I'm going the same route with parts laying around but just lazy to do it LOL
If your mod list is up to date with an exhaust, looks like mid 13's all day with a good driver.

Yeah I figured hah, GRAVEDIGGER gave me the best of it spoon feeding:p
Taking it to the drag strip wish me luck!
Well after I get a good tune. Don't want to
blow anything up!

I didn't want to get scolded so I spent like 2 months on this site reading and stuff before I actually posted a question. Actually my first thread got closed LOL

There is a article in the drag section. It's a really good read if you have never been to the track. I posted my experience there also so remember to skim through it.
