I own a 2g GST. Pretty much stock. Installing fmic and B16g.
I am thinking of Evo VIII 560 injectors and 255 walbro fuel pump.
Would this setup be good? Or bigger injectors, smaller fuel pump?
199? Possibly. And will the evo 560's bolt up?
Guy says he has them with the clips. Thanks to all :thumb:

You will need something to tune with those injectors... The car wint run good just by bolting up those parts and yes, evo 550cc will bolt up straight.

You may eant to keep your stock injectors then install the evo ones once you've got something to tune with.

Good luck

Do You think i can just hook them up and go tune it and it will be fine?
Or will tuneing be too pricey? Also will tuneing help the lack of air from
a vented BOV?

Theres no esy to compensate for a vented to atmosphere bov without the proper parts (gm maf, speed density, etc)

If you really eant your proyect to be worth, i think the best for you is to get this parts and eait until you get yourself an afpr and a tunning device.

I know anciety kills everyone but the wait ia worth. There is an upgrade payh herenin tuners, most likely you will enjoy your car the best this way than just bolting up parts at a random order.

Ive been with without my car for for a year just trying to restore it.

Believe patience pays of with this cars

As in take it to a shop and have them tune it.

Still you will need a device for tunning... A reflashable ecu, ecm link or stand alone system.

Your best bet is to simply restore the car, upgrade path, make your own tunning recipe once you habe experience with it

If you've got an eprom, instead of spending the money in parts get an ecm link you will get more fron the car this way than with those parts you eant to buy

I have am eprom ecu.

Then you need to have it socketed and get a chip or dsmlink. If you get a 255 you will need a fuel pressure regulator too. you don't need a 255 for 560s and a 16g but if you plan on upgrading later you could get the 255 and fuel pressure regulator now. Nothing will help your vented bov except going speed density or GM MAF/MAFT.

No i don't plan on upgrading. So i should be safe with the B16g, stock fuel pump and 560's? Also, which type of chip do i get? And where can i find one?

with the 190lph fuel pump you dont need an adjustablr fuel regulator , as everyone has said you cant just throw it all in and expect it to work safc isnt worth it so if you think of trying it its a waste of money ecmlink can be found on here and also stmtuned.com and they do a socketing on your ecu for you.

those injectors will be fine for what your going to run once you get link or get a 99 ecu and have it flashed if im correct that is the cheaper route to go too

A 99 reflashable ecu will be a cheaper route but are hard to find... Still you will get more just by installing ecm link

Where can i buy ecm link? And does it matter what version I get?

I'm not looking into going extremely major right now, that's why I just need
an affordable route of tuning for the time being. If I wasn't on a tight
budget I'd go dsmlink v3.

It would be nice if there were specifics... like 16g turbo + 550cc + blank fule pump and your good to go. Im not very mechanicly inclined so at some point it just gets confusing and beyond my understanding... back to subject. Is there one correct answer or a bunch of answers that are all can be correct?

Yeah, reading can only get you so far if you dont have a precurser of "how to" knowledge. It just seems people are kinda vague with their answers...

Tell that to all the college kids & engineers. Read Read, search, read. I've been on this site for awhile, & I still read.

Vague? There's an upgrade path, FAQ on here, too many people saying/asking the same things. But some how, we are kinda vague? :ohdamn:
