It does something but wether or not it's accurate I can't say. I have some old logs from when I had my 16g and my intake temps at the throttle body were 113 degrees at 24 psi. With my 60 trim the temps are 107 degrees at 24 psi. According to your calculator the power difference is minimal, but seat of the pants says other wise. I need to do some more messing around with it and see what I can come up with. It could also be my intake temp sensor is not accurate, or it doesn't respond to changes in air temperature fast enough. Or am I going about this the wrong way?

I found this post about compressor efficiency and temperature and all of that good stuff. It's way over my head but maybe it will help you out with your outlet temp calculator.

Good find. Can you give me all of the specs of your 16G or a compressor map of that specific model (which is what I really need) and that of your 60 trim?

Here you go, I don't know how well these pictures will turn out.
First one is the the TO4E 60 trim

I'm back and working on the intake temp/press calculator. Check out the link that Quasimondo posted and play around with that one. You need to use the compressor efficiency from the maps (plot Pr and CMf using the calculator I made earlier).

That gives me an idea. I'll throw in another calculator or two for converting CFM to LB/MIN.

...and back again to CFM.

Here is the latest version including the intake temperature calculator (that was a pain in the ass) and two more converters. The calculator is now so large that it is becoming difficult to navigate and nonsensical in it's layout. I will possibly address this later. Enjoy the latest version.

*Edit: the last version is a few posts down

I think you got this covered. This page would make a great additon to the tech pages. Kudos to you for pulling all of these calculations together!

Thanks. As for the code, I think I will leave it alone for a while. I have added a navigation table and separated the calculators into their own tables and rearranged them for easier reference.

Again, if anyone can think of a good addition, I would be more than happy to add another calculator. You don't have to know how to do the calculations, just what would be a good addition.

Here is the script for those who want it (I've been taking the old scripts down).

If anyone comes across a problem or wants to discuss a calculator formula or something, please feel free to do so in this thread [braces for impact].

For those of you who would like to see this added to the site, please contact our moderators and founder who are responsible for this great site and tell them you think this would make it that much better.

Thanks for playing! :thumb:

I have my scripts enabled.... but when i press calculate X it doesn't show any answers? I have it saved to the notepad as a .html and everything else comes up perfect I just can't see the results.

I'm going to try and download the scripts myself. I'll make sure that it works and post back in a minute.

I've just tried it and it worked fine for me.

When you click it, do you get an icon with a yellow triangle at the bottom left side of the browser window. Also, what browser are you using and what version?

Has anyone else run into a problem or has anyone gotten it to work?

Fixed the formatting for you - there were a few HTML errors. Nice job.

I also moved a copy of this to the Tech Guide:

Please update that page from now on if you would.
Thanks Ludachris. I couldn't figure out why the html looked that way inside of the post, but I guessed that it just didn't like me (probably the way I didn't use the /td tags and such). The scripts, however, still do not run inside the post. I was kind of hoping that we could get working versions on the site since downloading, opening, copying, pasting, saving as, and opening is a little daunting for some of the less computer inclined.
