Well, just when I was about to start fabricating some sheet metal for the engine compartment my DSM decides it want's a vacation. The main seal on my transfer case assembly finally went, the fluid leaked out without my knowledge (makes mental note to stop parking car in grass) and the bearing froze up leaving me in between two lanes on a major freeway. Luckily I was able to convert it into an FWD and take it down to the dealer and have the recall work done on it, who knows how long that will take. Oh well, gives me time to work on my GS and finally get a new motor in it so I can stop driving my TSI and park it in a nice spot at the shop where it belongs.
