Well, the transmission is still working fine, although after you limp around town without boost it starts to violently downshift when i come to any kind of stop... I'm hoping the shiftkit I get will correct this...
I was planning on spending my tax return money on new struts, and rear lower control arm bushings, and a decent exhaust... instead I had to move and pass emissions...
I ended up doing the IAV mod from this site, and plugging the EGR in order to pass... a new mitsu BS, and timing belt were also installed... I had read an interesting article how Mitsu spent millions on balance shaft technology and I wanted my car to be a nice comfortable car around town and on the freeway, so I kept the balance shafts in
I would LOVE to run my car entirely on E85, but its not available in the Medford area which is a total joke... I wish there was a way to bring E85 here and am surprised it isn't since its well-known for having inversions that have a negative effect on air quality...
