unplugged MAF

I just put the 16g turbo on my 2g and now it feels like i'm hitting a fuel cut out at about 8psi but i'm actually running rich. I have checked all the vaccums and changed the plugs & wires. Nothing seemed to help so i took it to the garage and they worked on it for 9 hours and could not figure anything out then i came up with the idea of unplugging the maf and now the car breaks up from about 0-3psi but then pulls great right up to redline @14pounds. Since then i have replaced the maf and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions

It sounds like you have a monster size boost leak. Make yourself a Boost Leak Tester and test your intercooler pipe

I tested the car for boost leaks a couple hours ago and only found one small one around the bov. I fixed the leak and went for a ride and still nothing has changed.

My crystal ball says you will be replacing your pistons very soon if you continue to drive the car hard without metering the air intake.

Did you do the boost leak test with the throttle open or closed, and where did you put the tester when you pressurized the system? I suspect a boost leak exists somewhere between your throttle plate and the intake ports.

Sounds like your maf is failing, or you have a leak in the intake system after the maf. It could also be a cracked or missing O-ring on the injectors.
