Unknown Sound Indentification Coming From Clutch

I need some help. I have an unknown sound coming from my clutch i think. I just had the clutch replaced about 2-3 months ago. It sounds like a alight tink tink tink noise. When i push the clutch all the way in the sound stops. But at idle i can hear it and while im driving. If your directly in front of the car you really cant hear it. But from the side it seems somewhat loud. Does anyone know what it could be?

This is just my opinion, but when my brothers tranny was going out you could here a "tink, tink, tink," sound coming from the sides of the car. It turned out to be the bearings in the tranny. I also had a very light noise and when I changed my fluid it went away.

yeah its not that loud. Maybe I will add some fluid in there too see what happens. What kind did you put in?

well, I bet no one in this forum will agree with me, but I am using straight sythetic 10w-30 motor oil. There is a huge controversy of people saying this is the most stupid thing, because the tranny has no oil pan and it doesnt give the oil time to cool. My brother has over 100k on his tranny and has been using motor oil for since it had 40k. Shifts smoother and has no problems. My car also shifts smoother. My mechanic who is a dsm guru told me to do this and only do it on a high mileage tranny. Im not recommending it becuase you never know it could kill your tranny, but he rebuilds about 3 trannys a week so I trust him. Just use some thick gear oil.

wouldnt a bearing affect my cars performance. Other than the sound my car drives fine.

If you have a bearing that is broked down ... dont forget your gonna have some good main shaft play . meaning you will hear some tinky sound . I had that sound when my main shaft bearing was going out on my old talon .

Try opening your tranny up and change all your bearings and seals while your there . Its not that much of a challenge

My car drove perfect had lots of bearing noise coming from the tranny. Changed the fluid and it almost completly went away. Its louder when the car is cold

i checked my clutch fluid and it is full but its like a grey color.

I think you mean you checked your tranny fluid, the clutch fluid is actually brake fluid and has a small reservoir up on the firewall. When I changed my transfer case and rear it was gray and thick like paint. I would change it as soon as possible and see what that does

i did check the fluid your talking about its next to the brake fluid in small cylinder container

I took it to my mechanic today to have it looked at it. Havent heard anything yet, but when i went he said it seemed to sound like a bearing in the clutch.
