Hi guys, well I didn't post here for a while, I rised my boost till 35 psi and I got 547 wheel hp.

I made two runs in the track and got these results, first run 10.2 with 135 mph and the second run with 10.6 with 135 mph, actually there is something wrong with 10.2 I don't feel I really made this time because my 60ft was 1.2 Mr-John Shippered him self didn't get 60ft+I'm FWD Eclipse without nitrous so I guess there is something wrong going on.

The next run I made the same trap speed but different 60ft it was 1.6 I guess this is normal.

Our track is still new only 1 year we didn't get any complain from the other members that we have mistake with their time slips.

Is there anyway I got 1.2 60ft with fp3065 6000 rpm launch controll?
I used to make 502 wheel hp so I added FFWD heads and rised the boost level to 35 psi with 5 degree of timing over stock from 5000 rpm till 8000 I made 547 wheel hp, a/f ratio was between 12.5 and 13.00

My second question can I rise the boost more than that?

Actually I wanna use nitrous but don't know what boost level do I have to start with and what shot do I have to start with?

I was thinking 27 psi and 70 shot or 22 psi and 125 shot, is this the way to do it, I know once I hit the nitrous the boost level will rise up but this depend on how many shot I'm using

There must have been a problem with the timer, because you couldn't have cut a 1.2 60ft. What size slicks are you running?
 
Congrats on the run, but I am sure the 1.2 pass is a mistake. I have actually seen someone stage thier rear wheels before and not know on a solo run.
 
I was running 26*8.5*15 and I put a new slicks which is 26*10*15 and I made 10.7 with 137.5 MPH and my 60ft was about 1.7 I guess the 1.2 60ft is wrong because with bigger slick I wasn't able to do that again, my best 60ft was 1.60 but he missed the gear with this run.

After round 5, my Eclipse got the champion ship of 2005 season, hope I can still keep with the Hondas in my group, because they are very light to me and they have plastic windows and very light, nothing inside the car, my car is totaly street car and I should put roll cage 6 points because the FIA came to Bahrain and in 2006 our rulls should be the same as US, I think NHRA is coming to Bahrain as Patt Musi said, he was in Bahrain because he sold his car to someone over here and he is the fastest car in Middle East till now.
 
nice run. How did you launch? Did you slip it a ton at 6000 and still spin? You have LSD and 24.5 slicks? I have some 26x10x15 slicks and am hoping to make power in the range you are in. How light is your car also.

Awesome runs man. Ive seen a video of your track run and all i can say is that i was real impressed. Is there by chance anyway you have a video of the 10 second runs?? I would love to see them :thumb:
 
Oh I didn't access to the forum for a long time.
I made another 10.7 run with 140 mph it was the fastest trap speed I even done in my Eclipse.

Actually my car isn't that much low from front because with both slicks the 26*8*15 and 26*10*15 were both touching the slicks littel bit we had to rise the front, in the last run when I made 10.7 I run the 26*10*15 in the old runs I used 26*8*15 actually the 10 inch slicks hold much better than 8.5 slicks, the 10 inch always have better traction I made 1.6 60 ft, actually how can I post my videos we still didn't post that in the forum.

I'll let you know if I break into 9 sec if possible, I have the same project in very light car which is Mitsubishi Colt GTI hutchback 1993, It's gonna be ready in few days with 1g ECU and dsm link, 2.38 liter stroker,fp3065 exactly the same setup as my Eclipse but with light weight car, I'll let you see all my videos soon

I'll let my Eclipse driver to post the videos because I have another car and I race him in the same group

Yes 6000 rpm we tried 6500 it spin out, launch control at 6000 rpm, actually we don't know what is slip, usually we don't make slip because it's littel bit hard to make controll in the launch, my best 60 ft 1.60 flat, I don't have LSD I have quaife
 
I think the quaife is better for track more than drag, the kazz is better for drag, both are LSD but different type, I think the third type is phantom grip which convert the stock diffrential to LSD.
