Two questions with Picture / Video on turbo / bypass valve

Well let me start by saying did a boost leak test last night on the TB elbow and found the BISS screw was leaking and my EGR hose going to the TB was shot, so I counted the amount of turns for the BISS screw replaced the o ring problem solved same goes for the EGR hose. It actually holds pressure and gradually drops when pressurizing it now.

First question is what kind of bypass is this considered a Type S I'm thinking?

Also, am I better off just getting another 1g Bypass Valve or going with a recirculating BOV?

Second question is I got my flutter to stop when in park when you rev it up only happens when you drive and actually hit boost.

But their is a high pitch whistle / whine is the best way I can think to describe when in park and rev it up.

Yea I don't know why I do not have sound and no, no boost controller at the moment, waiting to order a under dash controller.
 
That appears to be a 1g valve that you have, and it is already recirculated (unless that big black hose that goes out of the picture at the bottom isn't actually connected to anything on the other end).
 
Yes it does recirculate, my question now is am I better off getting a tial type s recirculating bov or just another 1g bypass valve because this one looks like it is partially crushed which I know is no good.
 
Crush mod isn't a bad thing unless it's done wrong. I would just leave it if it's not giving you any issues. There's a lot of more important things you could spend money on rather then a new bypass valve.
 
There are tons of 1g bov's in the classifieds section usually..You should be able to get one for around 30$ shipped..

If you are running stock boost or semi above, there is no reason to crush the 1g bov..
 
I don't seem to have any problems that are present but with that odd sound when revving in park makes me wonder if it's bad. Which I can't see being good.
