Ask Me,
Virginia
The previous owner of this car bypassed the EGR by removing the vacuum lines to it (I guess he capped them off etc). The previous owner was a big hitter around here so he knows his stuff and I have alot of respect for him.
I was wondering if there would be any reason to bypass the EGR with a blockoff plate. I would guess that the EGR could leak even without vacuum aplied although it would be unlikely.
I am cheap bastard, but I was wondering if it makes any sense at all to just go ahead and get a blockoff plate since the throttle body is out.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
