thats sick. but would someone like to explain why this is better than one engine. lets say one engine puts out 250HP. either way you are still only putting 250HP to the wheels. 1 engine for the front wheels, one for the back? how is this concept any better, i'm lost.

but either way, thats still awesome!

man, having stock motors would be basically 400hp already. think about it with two fully built motors...itd be capable of 600hp oh so easily (and im sure its already pretty close to that).

Already been done. Remember Suzuki's Pikes Peak car? It used to twin turbo V6's for propulsion. Once rules changed that outlawed that setup they switched to a single twin turbo V6. It's still hella fast though.

i had heard some talk about a twin engine corvette supposed to be coming out sometime. But i havent heard anything about it in a while.

Think about sitting at a stoplight and reving at someone with a Z28 or something. they think "who does this guy think he is playing with?"
and then 2 second befor the light changes they here something else crank up and the engine noise gets twice as loud. I can only imagine.....

ok im still lost. if you are putting 250HP to the front wheels 250HP to the rear you have 250HP. each wheel would only push 250HP. not 500. i mean i saw the video and the thing is fast but it makes no sense. you have 500HP but not going to the wheels only 250 to each wheel. anyone wanna explain...........

There was a twin engine Hyundai Tiburon in the first Ultimate Street Car Contest by Sport Compact Car Magazine a few years ago. It was stupid fast, the ultimate sleeper. It totally dominated the Quartermile and Gross Power Display...

It was an auto, so he put the front wheels in drive and the rear wheels in reverse = the ultimate 4 wheel burnout...

ok someone correct me if im wrong but.... the reason AWD has a bad top end is becuase the power from the single motor is being split between the two sets of wheels.... and the opposite for FWD/RWD cars... got really good high end but dont have the AWD launch.... now if you have the two motors one being FWD and the other being a RWD then you still have the AWD just with better top end.... so its all about drivetrain loss...i believe AWD lose about 25% of their hp and FWD loses 15% and RWD loses 13%.... now you go from losing 25% of your hp due to drivetrain loss to around 13-15%.... i call that a BIG advantage..... hoped i explained it right....

youre not putting 250hp to each wheel... it gets split up (was just mentioned) depending on FWD/RWD or AWD. Two engines means twice as much power, so its awd with twice as much power as a stock awd would be.
