Tweeding My Interior...

Well I have a very stock interior in my talon that have complete plastic door panels and a plastic dash (I think thats the material). Well after time these panels have got scratched and hit and now the grey panels have white scratches on them which make the interior very ugly looking.

Now I am thinking about tweeding the interior of my car. This will include door panels and dash and console. I am just wondering if anyone has a write up on this and where I could find the tweed material.

What do you think about this idea?

Tweed is a type of fabric. If I'm thinking of what you are then it will make the car look old fashioned.

Ohh the type of fabric oh yeah i know now. I redid most of the fabric on the inside of my car minus the seats. Any wayTo find the twead you might need to go to a fabric store or a reapulstry shop. Maybe even a furniturestore even, i'ts a long shot but they might be able to help. when i did mine i just used fabric from wallmart or hobby lobby. I's cheap and it looks sweet.

I have those same door panels in my 92 and will get rid of them ASAP...down with the tweed interior.

Did you wrap the whole door panel, then did the center? Why didn't i think of that. It is pretty freaking sweet though. I say A+ work there my friend!!!

Thats a stock door panel he did nothing to.I have the same one....at least the center part,the rest looks like cheap suede.

I second that Blitz...that looks like so micro fiber material.... tweed is a thicker type of material. LIKE THIS:
