Turn Key No Power...

When i turn my key and all the lights come on i turn it to start it and it all cuts off... then i have to take the cable off the batery and put it back on so the lights come back on... and it does it over again and again any ideas?

try cleaning the battery terminals. Take the wires off, use a wire brush and some battery cleaner to clean the posts and the inside of the connectors that go to the post, reconnect the terminals and let us know if that fixed it.....

Also check the connections at the starter.

the terminals look fine i think it may be the wires on the starter... maybe the dumbass who helped me put the engine in did it wrong or something cus the car started and all at once it doesnt want too!

Try checking the ignition fuse. Does your horn work? Any lights turning on? Is the blower fan working? Just check the fuse under the hood and go from there.

Could the battery be bad? Not enough voltage to start the car?
