Anyone using this? I love the idea of the cockpit mounted switch for high/low boost because I can tune my S-AFC II for two settings, and easily switch. Are these boost controllers fairly reliable as far as weather changes and generally just holding the boost set instead of jumping around? I had the basic TurboXS MBC on my Talon, and it seemed it wold jump around 1-2 psi depending on weather and stuff.

So does anyone use the Dual Stage Boost Controller? I know for the price I could pick up a used EBC, but I don't really want an electronic boost controller, I like manual ones. Opinions?

Thanks,
Jason

Which one do you have? The Low/High or the Med/High? The reason I ask is because I was considering even setting lower than stock boost for daily driving to help with fuel economy, then 14-15psi for the occasional blast. The Low/High says it goes between stock levels and your setting, where the Med/High one says you can set two boost levels. Nice find though, I like the price, although the fit/finish doesn't seem to be as nice as the TurboXS, and I like the little red cockpit flip switch

Im gettin one of the dejontool ones tomarrow, thanks to out there haha.
I dont much care for their switch either, but im going to go to radio shack and get my own. Something alot smaller, or one of them red cockpit ones ;) So if you dont want it because of a switch, that is very simple to fix.

I have the Dejon Tool with the stock/high. It works great and the fit and finish is great too. It has no spiking at all. If you want the red trigger switch, go to AutoZone and buy one for 2.99. TurboXS is over twice the price, and has had mixed reviews with members of this forum.

too much trouble, you'd need to modify the wastegate actuator to do this. i have the stock/hi one and i really like it. the only time i get any sort of "spike" is when it's really cold

I have the MBC2a... stock/high and it works great. Actually have if hooked up to a switch panal and everyone always asks "whats the switches do?" Its fun stuff. I have never had a problem with the DejonTool MBC...would recommend to any FWD DSM.

A few questions to the people who use this setup for traction control. ( as opposed to just daily driver / gofast modes) When do you flip your switch from stock to high boost? im sure its very dependant on the car / boost level / turbo setup.. obviously you wanna build the boost as fast as you can without breaking traction, but i dont think i would have time to reach up and throw a switch while shifting. Its pretty much a straight shot to 3rd when im driving, tho im sure i could be able to hit it towards the end of second. any input would be appreciated

I have the TurboXS DSBC and it works awesome. I changed the switch to the red trigger switch. The normal setting is for when im driving everyday, its set at about 14-15psi. Then the second stage is set for when i race, 19-21psi. Anyways, it works good. :thumb:
