I bought this turbo from my friend long ago. I'm thinking about running it. I was just seeing if anybody knows anything about it specificly. I'm trying to get a rough geustimate of the numbers I could make. I have a 2g gsx with 6 bolt. When I put the turbo set up on I'm also putting a fully built head with kelford 272s and a magnus smim.I also have 3 inch exaust turbo back. Stock bottom end. Head studs metal headgsket. Act flywheel and 2100 clutch. Intake. Unorthadox crank pully. Fronmount. Aftermarket Oil cooler. I will get it Tuned by pina Motorsports with a mitsu flashable eprom ecu. I hear they're the bestaround.

I have absolutely no idea of what to expect or how much boost to run. I would love to make over 400 hp/tq with an awesome tune but still retain reliability

Fire turbonetics an email and see what they say, I have a T04E 57 trim with .63 AR and they told me it was a 450+hp turbo that would really come alive at 25 psi, I have no idea about actual #'s it's putting down, I only had it on my car for about a week (less than 400 miles) before the springs in my brand new tial external gate failed, so it's off again. The short time I had it running it pulled 3 times harder at 17 psi than my evo 3 did at 23psi. Again this is only butt dyno.

You can get 400 on a 50 trim but you're on a stock bottom end so be prepared for a rebuild. And before any of the n00bs come in here saying "SO AND SO RAN 600 ON A STOCK BOTTOM END", shut you pie holes. There are a few freak bottom ends that tolerate that but they normally aren't DD's and they are "shop cars" so trust them if you will. I see more "time to rebuild" as the bottom end fails than anything else.

I made 400whp on a Mustang Dyno awhile back with a stock 6 bolts, hks264/272 and a garrett 50trim at 30 psi. Fuel was 100 and meth with m5 nozzle. You should have no problem reaching your goal with the Kelford272s
